A classic. Incredible Afro-Cuban grooves with a funky edge. This early 60s or early 70s material, recorded in Miami, highlights Manteca's percussive finesse. He's joined by the legendary Carlos "Patato" Valdes and Nelson "Flaco" Padron. Rhythm section only. Hot percussion, fantastic bass lines (Cachao? No liner credits). Also include three bonus tracks of Padron's orchestra with Manteca on bongos. Get it.
