Veteran vocalist Rudy Calzado has exploded back on to the scene with this exciting tribute to one of the most prolific and beloved orchestra leaders in Afro-Cuban jazz, the late Mario Bauza. Bauza was the musical director for the legendary Machito orquestra, and a Cubop pioneer. Calzado had fronted Bauza's big band orchestra in later years.
