I was encouraged tosly write a follow-up to 'The Bongo Book' after receiving letters and e-mail from drummers who had either just begun bongo drumming or had decided to learn the bongos more seriously...What they lacked was teaching material to guide them in the exploration of this fascinating instrument.
'Bongo Drumming' is simply another step in the educational development of the bongos and an attempt to increase the awareness of this seemingly simple, yet immensely complex instrument. I sincerely hope that those who explore these rhythms will share the same fascination that I have in producing Bongo Drumming.
