Mr. Canto has been the flautist for Los Van Van, Cuba's foremost salsa band, for 25 years. This, his first solo record, is a finely crafted production, and is a must-have. Special guest vocalist, Van Van's Pedro Calvo appears for a dynamic version of the signature "Sandunguera." But every cut is wonderful, and incites dancing and a good ol' time.
