Includes performances by Ismael Miranda, Héctor Lavoe, Pete "El Conde" Rodriguez, Rubén Blades, and El Sonero himself, Ismael Rivera. Also includes interviews with Rivera and family members. Concludes with a tribute by Fran' Ferrer and Van Lester.
Originally released on video in 1997, available now for the first time on DVD.
Although the quality is not, by far, high fidelity, the performances are quite remarkable to watch, especially of those who are no longer with us like Lavoe -- who does a great job with "Sóngoro Cosongo" and "El Cantante," as well as Pete "El Conde."
A collector's must-have.
