Explosive live performances compiled from the 2003 Caliente! International Havana Club Music Festival features some of Cuba's best modern dance bands and is, essentially, a timba celebration. The participants, including Los Van Van (with Mayito, Yenisel Valdés (Yenny) and others), Charanga Forever (a spin-off of Charanga Habanera), Chispa y Su Complices, Manolito y Su Trabuco, and a revitalized NG La Banda totally rock this outdoor celebration where thousands danced in depraved abandon at what has become a several day event.
Excellent quality, and may be the best Cuban music DVD series we have come across.
