The Colombian musician -- he's been a part of virtually every important Colombian salsa group-has put together a tightly swinging recording that has elements of Colombian salsa, but seems a bit broader, too. Barros, who plays trombone, piano and sings, sings well, and every track gets quickly to its dance point, with precise coros chugging away over upper register bass figures-check out the track "Sacala A Bailar," which gets to the swing without fooling around with a long introduction. Non-stop, up-tempo fun.
