Editor's Pick:
Originally released on LP as El Campesino (1984) on the Bernis label, some (including our own John Child) consider this Tito Rojas record to be his finest album ever. This trombone-based conjunto led by tresero Pablito Paredes swings from beginning to end, and we are happy to offer it on CD for the first time. Rojas has never sounded better than he does here, like a true salsero. Includes a bonus 17-minute mix of five of the hottest tracks, assembled by Envidia's Luis Dominguez. Highly recommended.
