Recorded live in Melkweg, Amsterdam, Holland in 2003, this spectacular show led by Venezuelan percussionist-bandleader Gerardo Rosales is over an hour of blistering renditions of material originally arranged by Bobby Valentin, Larry Harlow, Johnny Pacheco, Louie Ramirez, Papo Lucca and other salsa luminaries. Features terrific vocals by Alberto Caicedo, Miguel Montenegro and Astrid "La Holandesa." And our good friend, timbalero Lucas Van Merwijk does a great job here.
With all of the classics that you might expect from a Fania celebration: "Juan Pachanga," "Bemba Colora," "El Cantante," "El Ratón," "Anacaona" and many others.
