Recorded live at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, July 2003, in conjunction with Concord Records 30th anniversary, Poncho Sanchez leads his band here with strength and a whole lotta soul. Four of the seven tracks, including his terrific version of the Ray Charles signature "One Mint Julep," come straight out of his most recent, and arguably best, CD entitled "Out of Sight."
Very high quality sound and picture, this DVD also includes some bonus footage: Poncho Sanchez interview, photo session video, as well as a special animated version of "Conmigo."
