Ummm, the sound of Cuba in the 1950s. The trumpeter Rolando Aguilo and his group run through some well known tunes — ie "Mango Mangue" — and while it all rocks, those of us who like Cuban electric guitar will get a kick out of the montunos and fantastic, measured solos by the mystery guitarist. It’s jazz; knowledgeable, smart, and Aguilo plays the trumpet well.
