This funky and riveting show is a tour-de-force of not only chops but of ideas too. These guys really stretch here, performing "First Thing's First," an original track by Figueroa, Rafael Hernández' "El Cumbanchero," "Piel Canela" by Bobby Capó, Wayne Shorter's "Footprints" and more. One of the better Latin jazz DVDs out there...
