Recorded in Madrid during the summer of 1995 by two generations of jazz mastery: Tete Montoliu (Barcelona, 1933) and bassist Javier Colina (Pamplona, 1960). The repertoire includes standards like Jerome Kern's "Yesterdays," Arlen and Mercer's "Come Rain or Shine" and "Laura," the David Raskin classic. There are also original compositions: a handful by the musicians as well as a gorgeous collaborative effort, "Un Blues." Unassuming, essential and replete with heart and soul.
