A pop jazz album by the Cuban saxophonist Velazco. It sounds like a time capsule of music from the 1980s, when instrumental pop music was played on the radio here, with walls of corny fake strings. That said, damn, these guys can play, including the guitarist Elmer Ferrer. They’re chasing Kenny G, not that Kenny G would notice. Plus, they use drum machines. In Cuba? Huh? Sacrilege!!!!
