Here's a nice find. It's a small jazzy dance project led by Juan Ma Morales, a cuatro and guitar player and singer with a seasoned, soulful voice. His ensemble plays locally here in the NYC area — I can imagine they'd be a totally fun band to see live in a small club setting. They do a warm interpretation of the Malo hit "Suavecito" and other covers too. With pianist Sam Barrios, bassist Danny Hinton, drummer Larry Evans and conguero Urbano Sanchez. Support local live music... buy their cd!
