Forward thinking Detlef Engelhard of Termidor Music was smart to pick up Calle Real, an orchestra that leads the pack of international groups that push the timba genre beyond the borders of Cuba. Led by talented tresero Patricio Sobrado, Me Lo Gané simply rocks. Vocalist and conguero Thomas Sebastian Eby does a great job here. Zero filler. Here's a timba album that's jammed with ...timba!
