I really like the old-time conjunto feeling Zaa achieved here. This is something of a concept album, a study in the Cuban bolero-chá feel. And it's really good. This has an abundance of the maraca-bongó component that is often lost in today's salsa. Well done, indeed. And Zaa's singing feels just right. With trumpeters Carlos Acosta and Wilfer Fajardo, percussionists German Villareal and Javier Ortega, Mauricio Daltaire on maracas (great job), guitarist Franco Carlos and bassist Juan Carlos Garcia.
