The Panama! series continues with Volume 3, and features more treasures dug up by compilers Roberto Ernesto Gyemant, Miles Cleret and Will Holland. The depths of Panamanian Latin swing and soul is thoroughly impressive, and, from this series, one gets the feeling that there is this universe of material if which we are just scratching the surface. Labels like Gussy, Lou, Panix, Onda Nueva, Artelec and Padisco are just a few who recorded bands like Lord Panama And The Stickers, Little Francisco Greaves, Ralph Weeks With The Telecasters and Black Czar. The material ranges from pure roots (Yin Carrizo's "20 De Enero En Ocu") to acid boogalo and everything in between. It's an amazing ride that you gotta take.
