The lyrics hit a nerve not just for the Nuyorican audience, but for Latinos worldwide. There are many who consider this the best, and last, real salsa album of the great Fania dynasty.
A more important example of the '70s salsa explosion would be difficult to find. This seminal release is a must-have.
